Ljubljana & Lake Bled
Slovenia is well known for its vast landscape and scenery. Stop at Lake Bled, located in the Julian Alps where you will be able to take beautiful photos of the Bled island in the middle of the lake, with the Bled Castle and the Julian Alps as the backdrop. When in Lake Bled, there are numerous things to do to connect with the nature. You may wish to try stand up paddling, swim (in summer months), visit the Bled Castle or take a traditional pletna boat ride to the Bled island. If you wish to relax, remember to order a kremšnita to go along with your coffee.
Arrive at Ljubljana – the capital and largest city of Slovenia. Not to miss tourist attractions are the Triple Bridge, the Dragon Bridge, Ljubljana Castle, Prešeren Square with its cathedral, Robba fountain and St Nicholas Cathedral. You will find many bridges across the Ljubljanica river which makes perfect photo spots. Chill at one of the cafes along the river or you may wish to take a boat cruise.
Please note that the schedule provided below is only for reference. The timings may change depending on the traffic conditions on the date of your tour. As it is a private tour, it is also at your discretion to lengthen or shorten the duration at each place of interest.
08:00am Pick up from hotel or selected pick-up point in Zagreb.
10:30am Arrival at Lake Bled. Free time to explore. You may wish to take a traditional Pletna boat ride to Bled island or visit the Bled Castle (at own expenses).
12:30pm Drive to Ljubljana.
13:15pm Arrival at Ljubljana. Free time to explore the town and have lunch. You may wish to take a funicular ride to visit Ljubljana Castle (at own expenses).
16:00pm Drive to Zagreb.
18:00pm Drop off at hotel or selected drop-off point in Zagreb.
