Ljubljana & Postojna Caves
Slovenia is well known for its vast landscape and scenery. Known as the Queen of Caves in Slovenia, be sure not to miss out on visiting Postojna Caves, which attracts more than 1 million visitors annually. Start your journey first with an electric train ride, stopping you at the Great Mountain. From there, you begin your walking journey within the caves to explore the Russian Bridge, and marvel at the stalactite and stalagmite formations.
Arrive at Ljubljana – the capital and largest city of Slovenia. Not to miss tourist attractions are the Triple Bridge, the Dragon Bridge, Ljubljana Castle, Prešeren Square with its cathedral, Robba fountain and St Nicholas Cathedral. You will find many bridges across the Ljubljanica river which makes perfect photo spots. Chill at one of the cafes along the river or you may wish to take a boat cruise.
Please note that the schedule provided below is only for reference. The timings may change depending on the traffic conditions on the date of your tour. As it is a private tour, it is also at your discretion to lengthen or shorten the duration at each place of interest.
08:00am Pick up from hotel or selected pick-up point in Zagreb.
10:30am Arrival at Postojna Caves.
12:30pm Drive to Ljubljana.
13:30pm Arrival at Ljubljana. Free time to explore the town and have lunch. You may wish to take a funicular ride to visit Ljubljana Castle (at own expenses).
16:30pm Drive to Zagreb.
18:30pm Drop off at hotel or selected drop-off point in Zagreb.
Prices are based on per vehicle basis, up to maximum of 8 persons.
