A fun day trip from Zagreb to visit both Postojna Cave and Ljubljana!
Postojna Caves
Slovenia is well known for its vast landscape as well as scenery, particularly Postojna Cave. Also known as the Queen of Caves in Slovenia, be sure not to miss out on visiting Postojna Cave, which attracts more than 1 million visitors annually. First, start your journey with an electric train ride, stopping you at the Great Mountain. Next you begin your walking journey within the caves to explore the Russian Bridge, then marvel at the stalactite and stalagmite formations.
Ljubljana
Next, arrive at Ljubljana – the capital and also the largest city of Slovenia. Not to miss tourist attractions are the Triple Bridge, the Dragon Bridge, Ljubljana Castle, Prešeren Square with its cathedral, Robba fountain as well as St Nicholas Cathedral. You will find many bridges across the Ljubljanica river which makes perfect photo spots. Also, chill at one of the cafes along the river or you may wish to take a boat cruise.

08:00am Pick up from hotel or selected pick-up point in Zagreb.
10:30am Arrival at first stop – Postojna Cave.
12:30pm Next, drive to Ljubljana.
13:30pm Arrival at Ljubljana. Free time to explore the town and have lunch. You may also wish to take a funicular ride to visit Ljubljana Castle (at own expenses).
16:30pm Then, drive to Zagreb.
18:30pm Drop off at hotel or selected drop-off point in Zagreb.
*Please remember to bring your passports or identification cards as we are crossing the border to Slovenia.
