Varaždin & Trakošćan Castle
Built in the 13th century as an observation fortress, Trakošćan castle has experienced many different owners until 1944 when the castle becomes national property. In 2003, it was designated as a cultural good of Croatia. Today, the interiors of the castle has been converted into a museum – housing weapons from the 15th to early 20th century, furniture, and a vast collection of paintings, photographs and books.
Continue with a short drive to arrive at Varaždin. Located in northern Croatia, it is well known for its preserved palaces and public buildings in the baroque and rococo architectural styles, Classicist and Secessionist houses and villas and one of the oldest city halls in Europe.

09:00am Pick up from your hotel or selected pick-up point in Zagreb.
10:30am Arrival at Trakošćan Castle.
12:00pm Depart for Varaždin.
13:00pm Arrival at Varaždin. Free time to explore this city and have your lunch (own expenses).
16:00pm Return to Zagreb.
17:30pm Drop off at hotel or selected drop-off point in Zagreb.
Prices are based on per vehicle basis, up to maximum of 8 persons.
